#02 ~ Spine Animations
Warmonger 2: Return of the Heroes » Devlog
So Spine is a great tool it turns out for 2D animation.
Above you can see my progression from an initial image-replacement on Spine's default project which has nice, characterful animation ... then my first created from an empty project.
The last shows my attempt to create an animation that expresses some feeling.
This is my first time out on skeletons and rigging and so on and I'm happy I took the time to give it a real go because I kind of love it.
I'd been trying to learn Spine for a number of years now and like so many other things during Warmonger: Sins of the Naga it just kind of came together at last.
Now I'm feeling confident about deliverying limb-by-limb animations and meaningful gameplay.
