#13 ~ State of the Game
Howdy, here's the latest update on Warmonger: Return of the Heroes!
This round I'm showing off doors, which are surprisingly useful, updated clothing, a quick re-visit of trading and talking and finally ....
Combat versus a small pride of lions.
The animation engine was extended to handle creatures with significantly different physiologies, i.e. lions to test quadropeds and spiders to test octopeds. It works so now I've got the confidence to move forward there, I should be able to make most any type of beast.
Combat going to be turn-based and the next step there is taking a look at the faction system which is pretty basic at the moment.
After that, I'll give the lions some claws and see how long it takes them to straight up murder me. It shouldn't be long :)
